Who is it for?
Whilst the HSE say that any business that employs more than 5 people must have a Health & Safety policy, procedure and training programme in place. We believe that any employer has a duty of care to his/her employees to ensure that they are safe at work.
Approximately 26% of accidents and injuries at work are caused by lifting and carrying. 2/5th of RIDDOR reported accidents & incidents are due to bad Manual Handling.
What is it about?
This training course will identify various Manual Handling techniques, understand the hazards and risks involved in all forms of Manual Handling and recognise and practise ways to handle loads safely.
